Welcoming.  Kind.  Fun.  Smart.  Giving.  Full of love.
Those traits describe Lisa and Keith.  They flew me out to Florida to shoot their wonderful wedding after Lisa had only met me once.  What Oklahoma City wedding photographer would ever say “no” to a trip to Florida in January?  Now I’ve had the opportunity to be one of the central Florida wedding photographers, which is awesome.  It really was a photographer’s dream.  A relaxed morning filled with coffee and bagels, three separate bride and groom photo times, a gorgeous venue, tons of flowers and greenery, the prettiest sunset I’ve ever seen, warm, breezy Florida weather, doggies in bowties, lots of dancing, friends and family coming together to make things happen, friendly smiles and words of encouragement, a BBQ buffet and desserts hand made by friends, corn hole and yard games, a beautiful bay, and the celebration of the beginning of a married life for two of the greatest souls to walk this planet.
Weddings aren’t about how decorative or trendy they are.  They’re about the couple getting married and what makes them who they are.  Even though this wedding was SO pretty, the emotions that filled the day were what made it so great.  From the ceremony, to the speeches, and the gathering of friends and family, this day was so happy.
I remember, right after Keith said his vows to Lisa, Lisa decided right then and there to walk over and hug him.  She didn’t want to wait on their first kiss to embrace him.  She wanted to hug him then.  I’m pretty sure I teared up three or four times during the day.  There were tears in the wedding party and smiles from the bride and groom.  Guapo, Keith and Lisa’s dog acted as the ring bearer and one of my favorite weddings guests ever.  Watching everything come together and the love people have for Lisa and Keith is a big part of why my job is so wonderful.  Seriously.  This day.  This couple.  Their friendship.  Their love.  My friends, now.  So beautiful.

Image heavy.  Enjoy.
