I got to photograph a wedding when I traveled to Portland in September.  I’d love to eventually move to the PNW and become a  Pacific Northwest and Portland wedding photographer, so I’m working on getting my foot in the door.  My friend, Carlos, of JC Envisions, was kind enough to have me along to help him out.  The day was magical.  Cool temperatures in the morning, an abundance of fresh flowers and cute details, lots of smiles from everyone, a gorgeous venue kind of out in the middle of nowhere, and some lovely golden light.  I loved photographing this wedding and am thrilled that I made friends while doing it.  Jordan and David met on Tinder!  I suppose not all meetings via tinder go poorly.  They’re such kind people.  Even though I met them the day of the wedding, I felt immediately welcomed, like I had been a part of their lives for a long time.  Good people.
