Earlier this year, I could only call myself an Oklahoma Wedding Photographer.  Now I can now call myself a Denver Wedding Photographer and that is really awesome.  I’ve always hoped that photography could also help towards my traveling, and slowly, but surely, it’s happening!  Yay!  I got to travel to Denver for this beautiful wedding.  I stayed with good friends, ate great food, went shopping, explored Denver, and got to shoot this wedding.  It was such a great few days.  Molly and Allen’s love is as authentic as is comes.  You can tell by how they look at each other.  I actually met Molly for the first time two days before her wedding and she was such a sweetheart.  They–and their family and friends–welcomed us wholeheartedly and without inhibition.  By the end of their wedding, I felt as though Molly and Allen were friends, and if that’s not a testament to the type of people they are, then I don’t know what is.
This wedding was a dream. Â It was on a working farm near the base of a mountain. Â Chatfield Botanic Gardens was amazing. Â There were bunnies hopping around everywhere. Â Fresh flowers and natural light and twinkle lights and pie and really great food. Â There was enthusiastic dancing and lots of hugs and kisses and so. much. joy. Â The sunset that night was one of the greatest I’ve EVER seen. Â It didn’t hurt that the weather was perfect. Â They played the best music–a little Van Morrison, some Avett Brothers, and a bunch of oldies that got a lot of people stoked to be on the dance floor. Â The night was full of life. Â The people even more so.
This was one of my favorite weddings I’ve ever photographed. Â I hope you enjoy the photos as much as I enjoyed taking them.

You were so amazing, Rachel! Thank you for coming to Denver and being so calm through the whirl wind. It was way more emotional than I could have ever expected! You captured so many great moments, and every time I look at the photos I find new ones that are my favorites. How am I ever going to narrow it down for my photo album?!
